A day painting natural and organic tree forms and Australian bush scenes, using jewel like watercolours. Render bushscapes with deep shadows and lovely details guided by Ingrid who has a collaborative and friendly approach, helping participants achieve unique results using  contemporary techniques on a variety of surfaces. 

 

The aim of the day is to create your own beautiful bush scenes in various sizes and formats using the evocative combination of beautiful indigo with warm copper highlights. 

 

Beginners are most welcome. This is a class you will enjoy if you would like to explore contemporary techniques and a looser approach to using watercolour. Everything is provided, including a selection of surfaces to paint on and plenty of material to practise with. However, if you have your own preferred equipment & materials, you are welcome to use them. 

 

Please bring along images of your favourite bush walks or forest scenery for reference. 

One on one online tuition with Ingrid. The format can be flexible to suit your level of experience and interests. If you'd like individual help with a specific project, or would like some demonstrations or are wondering about techniques and tips, this is a good way to go.

Keep going! A regular zoom catch up on Friday mornings to help you stay in the flow. Maybe you've attended one of my workshops, or perhaps you already paint but want to learn a few new watercolour & ink techniques. If you'd like to spend a couple of hours painting online together in a small group of six, the format will be free flowing and unstructured. I will do plenty of demonstrations, suggest composition ideas, discuss materials and work on individual projects.

Render meandering bush tracks and dappled forest scenes guided by Ingrid who has a collaborative and friendly style, helping participants achieve unique results using  contemporary techniques. 

 

The aim of the workshop is to create your own beautiful bush paintings in different shapes and sizes. Please bring a few images of your favourite tree filled landscapes or bush walks for reference if you like. 

 

Beginners are most welcome and heartily encouraged! You will enjoy this class if you would like to explore a looser, more natural approach to watercolour. Everything is provided. However, if you have your own preferred equipment or materials, you are welcome to bring these along too.

This is an open format group for any and all levels of experience. I will share techniques & ideas, give demonstrations, and help you along with your own projects. The idea is to have fun and enjoy the lovely medium of watercolour, you will need minimum supplies to participate. More details regarding materials and the zoom link will be sent upon booking.
